What is A2 cow milk ghee?

Ghee made from the milk of desi cows is termed as A2 cow ghee. The basic ingredient of this ghee, A2 cow milk, lacks a form of a β-casein protein called the A1 protein which is known to be harmful to the body, affecting the lactose intolerant more, and differs from the ever-beneficial A2 protein by one Amino acid.

How can you consume ayurvedic ghee on a daily basis?

According to Ayurveda texts, consuming in the morning on an empty stomach treats the body like rasa and is a source of nutrition for every single cell in the body. it also improves the process of cell rejuvenation and heals the body. Consume one teaspoon of cows ghee with warm water in the morning. You may also grind raw turmeric and 1 teaspoon ghee to make a morning drink. Consuming this concoction every morning will help improve your immunity and cure dry cough.

How is this ghee beneficial to me?

This ghee increases the sattvic qualities, that is, calm and peace, of life when consumed on a daily basis. It pacifies the aggressive Vata and Pitta Doshas in the body. How long can honey be stored?

Honey is pure naturally-derived sugar and can be stored indefinitely. As our honey is raw and we do not process it, it can get crystallized in colder weather but this is perfectly fine as it is a natural process.

What are the precautions I must take when consuming honey?

Honey can be consumed on a daily basis but should not be heated beyond 40C. Heating honey causes the formation of a toxin that is very hard for the body to remove. Honey should also not be mixed with hot beverages or foods but can be mixed in lukewarm temperatures.

Honey possesses an excellent quality called lekhana which is its ability to detoxify the body. Apart from detoxifying, honey also aids in obesity management and weight loss- Medoghana, as it helps to melt away adipose tissues.
